About me

Arrow pointing right

I have over seven years of experience working with companies and organisations both big and small.

After studying at Royal Holloway University of London, I worked in sales and marketing in the music and education sector. This included working for one of the oldest music publishers in Europe, Schott Music. Working in their UK department, I honed many of my key marketing skills including email marketing, social media marketing, content creation and website skills. I also supported with PR, events, print marketing, sales and trained authors and interns on social media best practice.

Deciding to move into the third sector, I then worked for Brick By Brick, an arms-length property developer soley owned by Croydon Council. Brick By Brick provided a mix of housing types, using profits to fund their affordable and social rent homes. My work mainly focused on email campaigns, both newsletters and targeted emails, online architectural events, blogs and website maintenance.

After the closure of Brick By Brick by Croydon Council, I then worked for the charity Music For Youth. Music For Youth provides outstanding performance opportunities for children and young musicians across the UK. In my years' contract for them, I managed their social media accounts, creating and editing video content and graphics, supported young people on work experience and ran email campaigns. One of my larger projects for this charity was rebuilding and repopulating their websites, combining three websites into one and then running a digital national festival on the new website.

I continued my work in the charity sector and started a new role at St Mungo's. St Mungo's is the largest homelessness charity in the UK and also operates as Housing Association. Focusing primarily on their social media, I helped run campaigns both large and small, as well as managing channels, supporting with crisis communications and of course creating lots of engaging content.

In the autumn of 2023 I decided to go freelance part-time, whilst working part-time as Digital Fundraising Manager for the charity Magic Breakfast. My first project working at Magic Breakfast was the Big Give, raising over £190,000 in one week through digital Individual Giving campaigns.

In 2025 I moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands to be closer to family, and have continued to work with both local and UK-based organisations as a full-time freelancer.

Since being self-employed I have worked with a number of different organisations and companies including Cambridge University, the Living Wage Foundation, Theatre Peckham and Chance Arts.
